Day Calculation - Capitalization: With a savings account, the day calculation is usually based on the calendar and interest is calculated annually; other settings are possible. By clicking on the respective options, you can specify whether the year should be calculated as 360 days or on the calendar, and whether the day calculation should be based on the calendar or 30 days per month, and whether the interest should be added to the principal annually, semi-annually, quarterly, monthly, or not at all (capitalization).
Interest Rate Table: Interest rates can fluctuate over time. Enter the interest rate changes.
Transaction Table: Enter the date, deposits (positive) and withdrawals (negative), and optionally a description.
Closing date: Enter when the account should be closed or when interest on the claim should end.
Calculate: Click on calculate to calculate the interest on the account.
The 'Print Savings Account Schedule' table: The result of the calculation is the Savings Account Schedule table. Click on 'Print Savings Account Schedule' to print the calculation.
